WHO COLLECTS YOUR DATA?
The Elisabeth Jeunesse service of ANNE Asbl manages personal data for the babysitting.lu service and can be contacted by email: babysitting@elisabeth.lu. Within Elisabeth, the management company Apollonia S.A. S.I.S. provides administrative support services (communication, legal, IT, etc.) to Elisabeth Jeunesse and may therefore be involved in processing personal data.
WHY DO WE PROCESS YOUR DATA?
Personal data is collected for the purpose of managing registrations, connecting parents and babysitters, and preventing fraudulent or illegal activities. These processes are based on the execution of pre-contractual measures (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).
WHAT TYPES OF DATA DO WE COLLECT?
To manage the service, we collect the following data:
- For babysitters: identification data (first and last name), contact details (address, phone number, email, and name and phone number of a contact person), and personal details (age, date of birth, babysitting training). A photo may be submitted voluntarily by the babysitter based on consent.
- For parents: identification data (first and last name), contact details (address, phone number, email, phone number), and personal details (household composition | extended certificate of residence).
- The history of transactions and written communications between parents and babysitters on the site is also stored.
Cookies
This website uses cookies. These are small text files stored on the user's device (computer, smartphone, etc.) via the browser software. These files do not interfere in any way with the proper functioning of the system. They are used solely to make our service easier to use, more efficient, and more secure. Most of the cookies used on this website are session cookies that facilitate user navigation during the current session. They are automatically deleted when the user leaves the website. Other types of cookies may be temporarily stored in a dedicated area of the device until the user deletes them. These cookies help to recognize the visitor on their next visit.
WHO DO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH?
To enable matchmaking, babysitters' data can be accessed by registered parents on the site. During registration, the user profile is validated by Elisabeth Jeunesse or a partner of the service.
The data is hosted in Luxembourg on a server that meets the security standards required by current legislation. In the event of a judicial investigation or to combat fraudulent or illegal activities, the relevant authorities may be recipients of users’ personal data.
DATA RETENTION PERIOD
User data is retained as long as the person remains active on the platform, and for a maximum of one year after the account is deleted or one year of inactivity. In case of disputes or investigations, the data may be kept for as long as necessary to resolve the issue.
WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- the right of access; the right to erasure or rectification of data if incorrect;
- the right to object to or restrict processing under the conditions set out by law;
- the right to file a complaint with the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD) if you believe that the processing of your data does not comply with the law.
